Banded stripe cotton skirt

A medley of Blues

I love this banded stripe cotton skirt. Love the medley of different shades of blue stripes with varied width, and the sleek polished pleats on this skirt. The banded high waist gives me a slim flattering fit that helps accentuate my waist for a very flattering silhouette. Since Blue is one of Pantones colors of summer, I’m super excited to try on as many shades and variations as possible before the end of summer so check back often to see what I have. See here.

For a relaxed but glam look, I paired it with these brown high heeled sandal and a simple off-white shirt top, with tassel ties. Another option I considered was to wear it with a tule underskirt for that dramatic, fuller effect, hmmm…I’ll have to save that for another post.

Also, for a more relaxed look, this outfit would also pair well with a pair of nude espadrilles, with a tote or shoulder bag. This look, however, exudes a flair of refined and modern style. How else would you wear it?
