French Riviera Boho chic

I am channelling my inner French Riviera Boho chic vibes. And no, I don’t own a yatch nor do I holiday in the French Rivieras. Be that as it may, a girl is allowed to have #goals and dreams! Riviera style is stylish, simple, yet elegant, classic, and effortless chic. The Riviera look is described as a mix between Parisian chic and the nautical look, which exudes an air of glam, and understated elegance.

French Riviera Boho Chic (OOTD)

The French riviera Boho chic style is the outfit of today. I am recreating the Riviera look right here at home. Therefore, in order to fully channel that aesthetic, I put together some essentials. First, a wide brimmed hat, stripes, cool and stylish sunnies, easy-breezy, crisp, white cotton pants, and a light, breezy top with statement sleeves…voila!

The shades of white, pastel, and earth tones in this look is a minimalist but classic, and elegant look, which in effect definitely exudes a chic Parisian vibe. I admit, I may be a tad bit obsessed with the Parisian look, so if you missed my previous post on this topic, you can check it out here.

Accordingly, this cargo style crisp white, wide leg pants, paired with this supper lightweight striped top, with dramatic bell sleeves creates a noticeable elegance…the epitome of casual, effortless chic. Finally, the tie belt serves as definition for my waist, while the wide brim hat cemented the entire look. What are your thoughts on this look?

• Style as above, but ditch the chocker for a bandana/scarf knot tied
• Ditch the circle hand bag for a straw bag to channel your inner Grace Kelly Birkin look
• Ditch the pants for denim shorts and ballet flats or sandals
• Style with skinny white jeans or cropped pants instead
