wedding guest dress, that was the thought that ran through my mind as I contemplated, to buy or not to buy….guess what? I did! Here’s why…First, I wanted something for that late summer/early fall wedding invite. Best of all, the dress was on sale, so I snagged it!

Also, did I mention this dress was an accidental find? I picked it up while back to school shopping with my daughter. They have a way of turning out to be winners, those accidental finds, don’t they? And yes, I said back to school…a tell tale sign that fall is upon us.

Anyways, I love the form fitting style of this dress as it gives a very flattering silhouette. Also, the modestly high front slit scream sex appeal for a gal not afraid to show some leg…haha! Although, the neck line is high in front, the almost bare back, save for the criss cross straps, saves the day.

Additionally, one more thing I love about this dress is the fact that it can easily transition into fall. Yes, by pairing it with a light coat or jacket, it becomes fall ready.

Finally getting to how I styled it. I paired it with these off white heels, also seen here and a small basket weave clutch. The cut calls for minimal jewelry, so I chose these clear tear drop earrings. The dress is simple yet elegant. How else would you wear it?
