How to style corduroy and snakeskin print trends

Corduroy and snakeskin print are key trends this fall. As much as I’m not one to follow trends to the T…occasionally, I love to play with items that work well with my closet staples, and this is on of those times. I have had these corduroy blazers for few years now, and thought it befitted restyling. Corduroy has always been reserved as as a fabric fit for those in academia (remember your professor)!

Therefore, to avoid looked dated, I layered it over a snakeskin print, cowl neck top, and paired it with a tan straight leg, leather pants, tucked loosely into my Gucci mid calf boots…remember seeing them here and here?. Finally, as customary for me, I defined my waistline using this belt, you’ve seen here.

Further, for variation, I styled this look with red thigh high boots, and a leather jacket. Also note the shot with the newsboy cap. Which look do you prefer?
