Hello Lovelies!

Thanks for stopping by today. This spring weather here in Texas has me confused for the summer, not that it’s a big surprise…makes me want to dress up in my summer getup. Whatever the day brings, I will be sure to ride along and enjoy it to the fullest. What plans do you have this summer? Any big vacations?  My summer schedule is already looking packed…with basketball tourneys, a mini family vacation, weddings, parties, work, blogging…phew! Anyways, moving on to today’s post. Another monochromatic look, see my previous posts, if you missed them (here and here)

Monochromatic look-ruffle top + destructed jeans (OOTD)

Todays monochromatic look-ruffle top + destructed jeans is super casual, yet chic! I previously styled these destructed jeans here. I love this look because its super chic, perfect for a casual shopping day. The top is loose fitting and super soft, suitable for a hot spring/summer day. The ruffles and crochet details on the neck and shoulder areas adds a sexy vibe to the total look. Of course, I paired the look with these blush sandal heels to elevate my look from simple casual to an elegant, chic shopping gal mode.

By the way, as the weather calls for, transitional spring coats are perfect for in between temps. This essential trench coat in baby blue hits the spot for me. This chic short trench coat keeps the April/May showers from ruining my party, yet keeping the desired chic look.

Finally, I carried this @Fendi Dotcom handbag, my latest find at TJMaxx at an unbelievably discounted price. Besides that, I love that it comes with a shoulder attachment to keep my hands free…It was splurge worthy to me. What are your thoughts on this look? Shop my look below

Alternative styling tips

  • Pair this look with pumps for a more sexy and elevated look
  • For a more trendy look, loose the handbag for a shoulder/cross-body bag in a pop of color to keep your hands free while you shop
  • loose the heels and pair with sneakers for an urban chic look
  • Pair with flats/sandals and a cross body bag for a boho chic vibe

How else would you style this look? Lemme know below. Bit remember, however you choose to style it, own it and rock it with poise and confidence!

See you next week…Ciao!

  1. You look absolutely radiant in these photos. LOL @ the weather has me confused for the summer. I never thought I’d be going ape over distressed jeans but they are damn sexy and they didn’t fail to make their impact for the look. I also love the pastel blue bag and coat. Really chic
