So, this week, I am doing it a bit different…talking most coveted spring wardrobe essentials you need this spring, and every spring for that matter. Spring is around the corner, and time to update your wardrobe for warmer days. What are the Most coveted spring wardrobe essentials you need to stay up to date? Here’s my take…

Skirts. The cold season is over, time to show some legs. Pencil skirts, mini, and Midi skirts. A pleated midi skirt is fine classy choice. Add ruffles for a very feminine take. Asymmetric cuts are perfect to add some interest to your look. See this look here

Flirty dresses in florals and pastel colors like here, will always be in for the spring season. Invest in high quality choices to ensure longevity and a reasonable cost-per-wear, CPW ratio. Easy to restyle by changing accessories. Hint: lavender/lilac is big this spring

Trench coats. I’ll be remiss is I don’t mention these. See my post on trench Coats here. Because of the transitional weather that is apt to get temperamental, a trench coat is your friend, plus they are super chic to sport. The Trench coat serves as a transitional piece for both spring to summer and summer to fall… heck even winter to spring.

Denim. Everyone should have a dark wash denim in their wardrobe. Because denim is always in season, invest in denim pants that have a flattering fit in a lighter color for spring and summer. For an uber chic look, destroyed ones work fabulously well. Don’t forget denim skirts and jackets too.

Shoes: You just can’t go wrong with white pumps, wedges, and sneakers, strappy sandals. In addition, for a chic on-trend look, the kitty heels are a definite go. Did you know that wedges are the perfect footwear of choice to attend graduation ceremonies? The flat surface keeps you from sinking into the soft soil often found on school ground this time of year. In addition, the height ensures you look chic in your outfit.

Deconstructed shirts, white tees and slogan/graphic tees. Spring/summer is festival season, and this calls for graphic and slogan tees, paired with a denim of your choice for that “I’m with the band look”. See my previous post on graphic tees here. On the other hand, a crisp white button down shirt is a must, as part of your closet staple, they go with literarily everything, adding an air of effortless, chic elegance.
