Off the shoulders appeal!
I love this off shoulder Bardot crop top by Misguided. It’s not too cropped making it appealing for most all tastes. To style it casually, I paired it with white jeans, not blue, just because I wanted the almost white out look with these blue, tasseled lace up espadrilles (here), which are very comfortable by the way, and I love the tassels. These Amrita Singh shades of blue bracelets paired perfectly well with the shoes. Stay tuned cos I will be featuring them in future posts. Finally, I decided on this Longchamp Terracotta tote for a pop of color. Love the size…not too big, just perfect to hold more than my phone and wallet!
Even though I try not to get too much into trends, I wanted to showcase this simple, yet flattering top for ya’ll to see. So, here are some of the reasons I love this top. First, I love the off shoulder look, which has been trending all summer long. There’s something inherently sexy about baring a bit of skin on the neck and shoulders, you’ll agree, no?.
Secondly, I love the length, it can be worn with mid rise jeans, like I did here for a balanced chic look. However, if you prefer, you may opt for low riders. I think the length is short enough that you can still achieve the cropped look when worn with a low rise jeans, and still nail it. On the other hand, to amp up the sex appeal, wear it with cut-off denim shorts or a skater skirt.
Lastly, the fabric is light and the loose style is very breezy. This definitely is a plus, as you can tell…the weather here in Dallas is being, well…the weather in Dallas, haha. I’m not complaining, oh no…because those that know me well, know that I can’t stand the cold weather.
Furthermore, this top also allows me to take in some sunshine and bronze up a little, and act as a gentle reminder to keep my shoulders up and back…Ha! How else would you style it?
Thanks for stopping by…stay fashionably elegant!
…xoxo
