Red, white and elegant was the way I felt during this photo shoot. I wanted to dress in the American spirit for church, but couldn’t decide on an outfit. I tried on a few, well maybe a lot, ha! However, non evoked the feeling my fashion heart yearned for at that moment. I finally decided on this carefree BCBG Maxazria dress with its white and blue, pleats. I thought this dress to be most appropriate for the occasion for several reasons.
First, because of the color, fitting for the occasion. Secondly, the accordion pleats that create sunburst effect, especially this beautiful windy day. To complete the ensemble, I easily decided on these beautiful red crystal chandelier earrings from Amrita Singh. Find similar here.
As America celebrates her independence, and in the spirit of independence, I couldn’t help but feel compelled to be independent from my stiletto heels…well, for a moment anyway hehe. The feeling of the grass on my bare feet was pure happiness.
The wind in my hair…ahh, was blissful. Love the carefree feeling as the wind tousled my natural God-given hair…who says elegance should be perfect? How did you celebrate your fourth of July?
