Pretty in Pink
Welcome back Loves!
Well, as we start the count down towards the end of summer, which has gone by too quickly, don’t you think? Anyways, I decided to feature some summer finds I had over looked. Check back for more finds I unintentionally overlooked. Today, I’m wearing a pink top with décolleté neckline + ruched sleeves. This top is a wrap around with a generously long sash, which makes it easy to style which ever way you choose.
I decided to just let them hang loose and do their thing. You can tie them in a knot, you can tie them in a bow…”can you throw them over your shoulder like a”….haha! Got you! Yes, I almost sound like the lyrics to that old scout song.
Seriously though, the voluminous ruched sleeves speaks volumes…eh, so to speak, creating some drama. When I first saw this top, I immediately thought of the ’80’s, but the billowy softness of the sleeves, of which the fabric is soft, 100% cotton for those who care, won me over. Nothing wrong with the ’80s by the way. This top screams feminity in so many ways. First, and fore most, is the décolleté neckline. Let me say, they would look fabulous with the right amount of cleavage…tastefully done, of course!
I paired this fabulous top with dark skinny jeans, but they would also go well with a high waisted skirt, as the blouse length is a little on the short side, or pair them with cut off shorts for an equally fabulous look. For shoes, I’m wearing Vince Camuto high block heels in powder pink, which I have had for a while now, and still love. Didn’t want too much jewelry so I opted for a small Sipalda sterling silver piece. Oh, I’m also carrying my favorite shoulder bag, see here and here. What do y’all think?
