Striped button down puff sleeve shirt

Welcome back Lovelies!

I hope you had a restful and fulfilling three day weekend…for those of you privileged to enjoy a three day weekend. I had to work (somebody’s gotta do it, right?). A huge Thank You to our Veterans and their families!

Striped shirts are a wardrobe staple because they are so easy to style and evoke an air of polished sophistication. Dress them up or down and you still win. I have styled a few lately. Check out this post here and here, if you missed it. As fall in underway, and we continue to inch into the Christmas and Holiday season, how do you keep your fall style and gift giving on point? See below for a special offer!

Striped button down puff sleeve shirt (OOTD)

The striped button down puff sleeve shirt, much like the classic white button down shirt, should be part of your wardrobe staple. This one has puff/ruched sleeves that adds interest and character. For some reason, I am unable to post the actual top here, but if you follow me on IG, I will have the link for you to shop. Anyhow, today I styled it several ways for inspiration. First, over this pencil skirt, untucked but belted to give a polished, but casual put together vibe. This look is perfect for a casual Friday work wear. The choice of this jacket or trench like here will add an air of chic sophistication, as well as provide some warmth.

The second look screams of a sophisticated boss babe vibe. Styled over the pencil skirt but tucked in and belted, with heeled pumps giving off that don’t mess with me boss lady in-the-board-room vibe. Both looks can be easily transitioned to after office dinner/drinks. Finally, I paired both looks with this Daniel Wellington Dapper watch, which further solidifies the polished, well dressed vibe, and adds a touch of androgyny to my look. What are your thoughts on this look?

Time to start making tour list and checking it twice…

I am super excited to tell you that Daniel Wellington, has extended a 15% discount on any of their products when you use the code Vivellefashion…this is in addition to any other special offers on their website. This Dapper collection will be 25% off for Black Friday (11/23 and 11/27), and includes a free strap! In the meantime, the holiday offer, which is available until 12/31 includes a 10% discount on bundles of watch + cuff or watch + additional strap. As I mentioned, all of these offers are in addition to the 15% discount you get by using my special code vivellefashion, so hurry!

P.S. This post includes an #ad for Daniel Wellington

I’m totally in love with this outfit. The cut of that skirt and I love the way you used the blue stripes to accentuate the blue in the outfit.
