Feathers, fringes and gloves for Valentine’s Day

Welcome Back Loves, and Happy Valentine’s Day!
What are your plans this Valentine’s Day? This Valentine’s Day calls for feathers, fringes, Lace, glovesadd some sparkle, bling, Chocolate and or chocolate covered strawberries …pardon me, but I’m just gonna stop right there. Anyways, the look I chose for this week’s post is subtly provocative and alluring. More on that below.

First, here are some no brainer tips on how to take the time to make someone feel extra special…heck, make yourself feel extra special! Celebrating Valentine’s Day is controversial to some, but there’s no question on Love being the central theme.

Dress up! Date or not. Wear an outfit that makes you feel extra special and celebrates your feminity, paired with sexy pumps or boots to enhance and elongate your legs. Accents such as feathers or animal skin pattern, like here, are optional but can be very alluring and provocative.

Pamper yourself with a relaxing day at the spa…enough said. I love this!

If going out on a date, seductive makeup works wonders, so enhance your best features, but do remember that less is always more.

Today’s Look (OOTD)

Today I’m keeping my neckline high and my hem low…very ladylike! Mom would be proud. I love this feather embelished blazer. It’s everything girly, fashionable, alluring, and provocative with a bit of sass….which all fit right into Valentine’s Day. This blazer by it self would be sooo blah…but the feather embellishments elevates the look to a whole new level, as in high fashion, Haute Couture. I paired it with this Zig Zag fringe skirt from H & M for more fun, pizzazz and of course sass!

Additionally, I styled it two ways with just subtle differences. First with a turtle neck with sparkles and also with a lace turtle neck. In both instances, I can take off the blazer and still look sexy and well put together. The thigh high boots add some sexiness while still allowing me to show some skin. The belt. which adds some definition to my waistline, was also previously styled here. Finally, the red leather gloves, a nod to Valentine’s day, also add some color and glamour to the look.

Styling Tips

My take on other styling tips. This blazer could also be confidently styled over a fitted sheath dress with the sleeves slightly pulled up for a dose of chic appeal…perhaps I’ll do that in a future post (if I remember…Hehe). Alternatively, style this blazer with a fabulous pair of leggings, and purple or even hot pink pumps to show off those killer legs! Which ever way you chose to style it, rock it confidently! Which look do you prefer? How else would you style this? Lemme know below.

Thanks for stopping by…Ciao!

Oh honey, you look so adorable. That pink blazer and feathered skirt just adds so much sunshine and class to your complexion, using the zig zag skirt in that way as an underlay is so la classe. The sound of going to the spa is soooo me; i love going there valentine or not. lol. Great outfit
