I am super excited, because 🎼It’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas….Party season is upon us…Christmas parties and the New Year is just around the corner. The season of merriments and countless soirées. ”Tis the season for donning festive attires made of sparkles, sequins, Velvet, and fabulous embellishments and bows. What do you have planned?
With this in mind, and to help me usher in the many holiday season soirées, I splurged on these amazing, and uber sexy Viktor & Rolf Peep toe Red heels with an oversized bow…I came across them incidentally while browsing online…I knew I had to have them, and I’m sooo glad I did! The overdosed bow just screams Xmas and Holliday presents! You have to admit, there’s something about red, bows, and velvet that evokes a feeling of feverish anticipation, and excitement!
Consequently, in keeping with the season, I am styling them with this slimming, sophisticated, body con dress by Herve Leger, which turned out to be the perfect pairing for the Viktor & Rolf peep toe high heel bow pumps. The rich color and texture of Velvet Chenille, actually makes it perfect for this festive season. I love the subtle flair in the skirt of this dress. In addition, the long sleeve, and thickness of this fabric is a serious cold weather deterrent. However, to keep my neck warm, I opted for this Faux Fur stole, which by the way, also ups the elegance ante a notch.
Finally, my trusted BCBG Maxazria satchel, and embellished belt finished up my look. Of course, i could have worn the dress without a belt, but my love for the waist definition of belts knows no bounds…hehe.
